Cardinals 10-Rangers 2 (final 5)
 
Led by a full team effort, the Cardinals secured their ninth straight victory by beating the Rangers 10-2.  Leadoff batter West Spooner set the table with two hits, two runs batted in and a run scored. On the mound the Cardinals,  Abram Carpenter pitched his first 1-2-3 inning of the season. For the Rangers, started John Aoki needed only thirty five pitches to complete two solid innings including a pair of strikeouts and a pair of slick defensive plays.
 
Grays 5 A’s 4
 
In a well-played and exciting game, the Grays snuck past the A's 5-4 at Boyle Park last Wednesday night.
 
Tristan Ryan, Dominic Palmer, and Frank McClay pitched a combined five solid innings for the Rays with Frank holding strong for two scoreless innings giving up no hits and striking out five.  The Grays received contributions from every single player in the lineup either at the plate or in the field, highlighted by an exciting strike 'em out, throw 'em out in the fourth inning with Frank pitching, Leo Chu catching, and Grant Maddex at second base.  Leadoff hitter Warren Koch led the Grays at the plate with two hits and one run batted in.
 
The A's bats were lively with six hits, led by three- hole hitter Eli James going two for two with a double and two runs batted in.
 
Giants 11 Rays 8
 
In a game led by both teams’ offense, the Giants outlasted the Rays 11-8.  Jayce LaMontagne led the Giants with four runs batted in on two hits.  
 
The Rays were led by James Canepa paced the Rays offense with two runs batted in on two hits including a monster double.
 
Rays 10 Rangers 1
 
Rays win 10–1 behind strong all-around play. Lennox Shah set the tone with two shutout innings to start the game, and Porter Kenyon closed it out with a scoreless final frame, going three for three at the plate as well. Sebastian Shah made his pitching debut and tossed a clean inning, while Ben Coley added solid middle relief. The Rays’ offense was clicking, with six different players reaching on base hits. 
 
Calder Trettin-Mulry paced the Rangers with a hit and a run batted in.
 
A’s 5 Giants 5
 
The A’s came back from a five run deficit in the top of the fifth inning to to secure a 5-5 tie with the Giants.  The A’s scored all five of their runs in the fifth inning to tie the Giants at in what ultimately became the final score.
 
Adam James hit a deep home run to left center and also contributed a double for the Giants.  Ella Bea Blitz came up with two key runs batted in to lead the A’s come back in the fifth.
 
Reds 8 Grays 7
 
Another nail biter for the record books as the Reds took down the Grays 8-7.  The early innings were all Grays led by Grant Maddux, who went two for two with a walk, while also notching two runs.  Casper Cashin of the Grays made it tough for the Reds, pitching two innings, allowing only two hits, two runs with three strikeouts.  
 
The Reds went into shut down mode, from the 3rd inning on, with big league pitching from Rylan Kneafsey and Cameron Briggs.  With the game tied 7-7 in the bottom of the sixth the Reds’ Isacc White got on base with a walk, and stole his way to third.  Walk off Willie, Will Crockett, doubled down the first base line to knock in the winning run for the Reds. 
 
 

Minors

 
Tigers 9 Mariners 6 

In a game where offenses showcased their skill, the Tigers outlasted the Mariners 9-6.  Grey Robinson led the Tigers with a home run and two runs batted in, while Valentino Papale added two hits and a run batted in.  On the mound, Jenson Rhodes, Grey Robinson, Sam Woodward and Valentino Papale threw scoreless relief innings for the Tigers.  

For the Mariners, Henry Cheen scored twice, Gavin Schwartz had a run batted in and Wales Davison pitched two shutout innings. 
 
Pirates 6 Marlins 5
 
In a nail bitter, the Pirates won on a walk off against the Marlins, 6-5.  With two outs in the bottom of the sixth inning, Dylan Burke scored on an over throw while stealing third base to win the game for the Pirates.  The Pirates’ Stefen Sigg nearly pitched a flawless sixth inning, striking out three while only throwing one ball.  Offensively the Pirates got hits from Ian Boley, Otto Fackler, Wyatt Burke, Burke Hall and George Ellis.  
 
For the Marlins, Quinn Ensley hit a triple down the right field base line driving in two.  Eben Sykes, Conrad Malone and Oliver Parrett also pitched in for the Marlins with hits. 
 
Tigers 6 Mariners 5
 
In a thriller, the Tigers walked off the Mariners, 6-5.  In the bottom of the sixth inning, Sam Woodard hit an inside-the-park home run to win the game. Sam had a big game going three for three with a homer, double, and single, and driving in two runs. Preston Rhodes added two runs batted in.

The Mariners built a 5-0 lead behind early offensive contributions from Leo Sassoni, Wells Lipner, Wales Davison, and Jack Schierberl. Leo and Gavin Schwartz each had hits, and the team showed patience at the plate, drawing seven walks. Paul Coogan anchored a solid defensive effort with seven plays and helped turn a double play.
 
Padres 8 Giants 6
 
In a tense, well-played game by both sides, the Padres held on to defeat the Giants 8-6 last Thursday night at Boyle Park.  After a furious Giants comeback in the fifth and sixth innings, the game ended on a bases loaded line drive by Henry Lin caught by second baseman Cole Ruben for the last out. 
 
The Giants got contributions up and down the lineup, led by Mateo Meller going three for three at the plate, and strong pitching from Carter Crosswell, no earned runs over two innings and Doc Davis, two strikeouts in one inning.  The Padres’ Luca Nelson was also on base three times for the home team.  
 
The Padres benefited from some good defense including a key diving play by Dylan Pluskowski in the outfield.  On offense the Padres had timely hits, with a triple by Aloha Shirt winner Cruz Williamson being the ultimate difference maker in the final score.  The Padres’ Luca Nelson was also on base three times.  
 
Giants 8 Marlins 4
 
Although the Giants beat the Marlins by four runs, 8-4, strong defense kept the game close.  Both teams displayed solid contact at the plate held in check by outstanding defensive play. The Giants’ Luca Nelson and Parker Caseli made exceptional catches while Giants catcher, Mateo Meller threw out a would be base stealer.   
 
Marlins catcher, Eben Sykes played strong defense and contributed two hits at the plate. Reed McCrea scored two runs for the Marlins and Raidan Fernandez pitched two scoreless innings.  
 
Pirates 9 Tigers 4
 
After a tight game early, the Pirates were able to pull ahead of the Tigers, scoring seven of their nine runs in the third, fourth and fifth innings to defeat the Tigers, 9-4.  The Pirates’ Otto Fackler, Alex Supple and Stefen Suggs shined on the mound combining for three scoreless innings.  Pirates’ second baseman, Dillon Burke displayed great glove work with some solid defensive plays.
 
The Tigers’ Sam Woodard had a hard hit single in the first inning driving in two runs and Greg Robinson and Preston Rhodes had two hits each helping give the Tigers an early lead.   
 
Mariners 11, Padres 5

Paul Coogan led the Mariners with three runs scored and a solid defensive performance at catcher on the way to a Mariners 11-5 win over the Padres. Jack McGoohan added a deep double to left field in the fifth and scored twice in the game. Max Chan pitched a scoreless inning in relief. 

For the Padres, Nico Bonistalli crushed a triple in the third inning and eventually scored on the play, while Nate Klein and Zack Rich each had two runs batted in. 

Majors

 
Phillies 4 Yankees 2
 
The Phillies defeated the Yankees 4 to 2 last Monday night in an exciting game at Boyle Park. 
 
The Phillies had nine hits on the night, including a double from Asher Kim, and run scoring singles from Colin Camposano and Jude Willard.
 
Phillies pitchers were excellent again, giving up only two hits and allowing one earned run.  Matthew Cao with eight strikeouts over three innings and Jack Devlin with two strikeouts and no walks over two innings led the way and Jordan Miller closed the game out with an eight pitch, a 1-2-3 sixth inning. 
 
For the Yankees, Charlie McIntosh had a triple and stole home to notch the Yankees first run of the game.  Jonas Jackson had a double and scored a run.  Defensively, Lazlo Winn had a great game behind the plate, throwing out two Phillies baserunners. 
 
Brewers 1, Giants 0
 
In a pitching duel the Brewers held off the Giants 1-0. 
 
Brewers starter, Ryan Lynch tossed three shutout innings allowing no hits, no walks and striking out three. Alexander Meleis recorded the save striking out four over three shutout innings 
 
The lone run of the game happened in the third inning after Ryan Lynch grounded out, scoring Cody Chittenden.
 
Giants starter, Archie Byrne went toe to toe with Ryan giving up three hits and one unearned run over two and one-third innings, striking out four and walking two. Wyatt Droege followed Archie pitching two and two-thirds innings of shutout ball and Lucas  Parrett hurled a scoreless  sixth inning.  
 
 
Brewers 11 Red Sox 6
 
On a gorgeous night at the Boyle Majors diamond the Brewers outlasted the Red Sox 11-6. The Red Sox jumped ahead early with a 5-1 lead led by solid pitching from Cameron Welstead and big hits by Paxton King, who three for three at the plate, Cooper Maddex, who went two for three, and Cameron Welstead, who also went two for three. 
 
The Brew Crew battled back in the bottom of the 3rd and never looked back starting with a big base hit by Sebastian Fals.   The Brewers offense was led by Alex Meleis who went two for three and had a big double that scored two. Ezra Pope-Meyer had a perfect day at the plate going three for three with a triple.  Brewers starter, Ryan Lynch pitched two innings of one run ball striking out three.
 
RVLL Giants 4 Sea Lions 1
 
RVLL Giants beat the Sea Lions 4-1. Ricky Ames had a hit and scored a run for the Sea Lions and Liam Koss and Cole Pritchard each added hits as well. 
 
Sea Lions 8 Phillies 3
 
The Sea Lions beat the Phillies 8-3.  Sea Lions starter, Ricky Ames gave up zero runs over three innings while adding a triple and scoring two runs. Cole Pritchard had two hits and two runs batted in and Les Sollner had two hits and three runs batted in
 
For the Phillies, Matt Cao had three hits, one run batted in and pitched two scoreless innings. Beau Bremmer continued his hitting streak added two hits including a double.
 
Yankees 7 RVLL Padres 5
 
The Yankees’ Jonas Jackson had three hits and Samuel 
Smith and Calvin Boehle each had two runs batted in a 7-5 win over the Ross Valley Padres.
 
Giants 10 Yankees 0
 
Giants pitcher Tyler Feduska pitched 3 scoreless innings and recorded six strikeouts as the Giants beat the Yankees 10-0.  The Giants’ Zach Hess and John McClatchy led the way at the plate with two hits and theee runs batted in each.  Tyler, Declan Heidenreich, and Wyatt Droege also contributed with teo hits apiece.  
 
Laszlo Winn and Charlie Youkilis each had a hit for the Yankees.
 
Phillies 6 Red Sox 5
 
Beau Bremmer's hit with two outs in the bottom of the 8th inning scored two runs and lifted the Phillies past Red Sox, 6 to 5.  The win was the third "walk off" win for the Phillies this season.
 
The Phillies’ offense was led by Jack Devlin, Matthew Cao, Colin Camposano, and Jasper Persson who recorded two hits apiece.  Phillies pitching was strong as well with Cao striking out six and Jordan Miller mowing down seven.  Jack Devlin and Henry Lee had standout plays in the outfield for the Phillies.
 
For the Red Sox, Cooper Maddex, four hits, Paxton King, two hits and Cam Welstead, three hits, led the way offensively.  On the mound for the Sox, Henry Ellis struck out five Phillies over two innings.  Defensively Red Sox right fielder, Abdullah Mullah gunned down a Phillies baserunner at the plate to send the game into extra innings.
