Cardinals 12 Rays 6
 
In an offensive showcase the Cardinals outlasted the Rays 12 to 6.  Zeke Kinsey got the Cardinals going offensively with a bases clearing triple in the top of the first. Zeke finished the day three for four with a run scored and six runs batted in. Henry McPherson added a single and a run batted in.  On the mound, Sully Beckman made his season debut pitching one efficient inning. 
 
For the Rays, Ben Coley connected on a deep shot to center for a three run home run and Porter Kenyon hit a late inning triple.
 
Grays 10 Rangers 0
 
The Grays prevailed over the Rangers 10-0 in five innings last week at Boyle Park. The Grays took advantage of their strongest pitching outing of the season with shutout innings by starter Tristan Ryan, and relievers Frank McClay, and Grant Maddex. The Grays were led at the plate by Leo Chu who went three for three with three runs batted in and two runs and Grant Maddux who went two for two with a run and run batted in.  
 
The Rangers battled hard despite the score and played solid defense, highlighted by a double play by Finn Cornelius on a hard line drive to short in the bottom of the fourth inning.
 
Reds 11 A’s 2

The  Reds offensive firepower proved to be too much in an 11-2 victory over the A’s.  The Reds were led by pitcher, Spencer Katzman who struck out five.  The Reds continued pressure on offense finally broke through in the fifth and sixth innings with solid base running from Isacc White and Henry Di Spaltro and a sacrifice hit by Ronan Movessian that drove in two.  Teddy Rotkowitz shined both behind the dish and on the mound, closing out a solid game for his team.

A’s pitchers Eli James and Ella Bea Blitzer held the Reds scoreless for four innings before the Red’s offense broke out.  

 
Cards 6-Rays 3
 
The Rays and Cardinals completed a home and away series on Thursday night with a see-saw battle that saw clutch hitting and dominant pitching from both teams.  The Cards eventually prevailed 6-3.
 
Rays starting pitcher Lennox Shah was dealing to begin the game throwing two shutout innings. Porter Kenyon's clutch hitting in the top of the first put the Rays ahead 1-0 and the Rays added another run an inning later. The Cardinals evened the score with a run scoring double from Zeke Kinsey and a line drive run scoring hit from Bennett Eyler. On the mound, Eyler struck out six in two innings of work to keep the Cardinal's in the game.
 
Giants 6 Grays 6
 
In hard fought battle Giants and Grays ended the game in a 6 - 6 tie.  The Giants were led by Maguire Thistle who had two runs batted in. The Grays were led by Grant Maddex and Tristan Ryan who both had run scoring hits and solid performances on the mound.  

A’s 9 Rangers 5

The A’s pulled off a 9–5 win over the Rangers on Tuesday, thanks to a five-run third inning that flipped the game in their favor.

Eli James led the offense, going three for four with three runs batted in, while Ethan Gruber added a key run scoring groundout in the first. The A’s showed great discipline at the plate, drawing twenty walks, with Ella Bea Blitzer and Dylan Benshusan each tallying four. The team also swiped eleven bases and played clean defense with no errors. Trent Fontaine led the way with thirteen fielding chances.

On the mound, Ethan Gruber started strong, allowing just one run over two innings while striking out four. 

Rangers 12 Reds 2 
 
The Rangers overcame the heat to outlast the Reds 12-2.  The Rangers were led by pitchers John Aoki and John Beacock who each delivered two solid innings holding the Reds to two runs and striking out six.  Aoki and Beacock also helped themselves and their team at the plate by collecting tow hits each.  Rio Jennings and Bode Schuessler extended their extra base hitting streak delivering a triple and double respectively.  Finn Cornelius stabbed a line out to save runs in the first. 
 
For the Reds, Rylan led the way offensively, going two for three.  
 

Minors

 

Giants 11 Mariners 4

The Giants jumped out to an early lead with a five run first inning to coast to an 11-4 win over the Mariners. The Giants played a complete game combining solid pitching, relentless offense and solid defense that proved too much for the Mariners to overcome.  Doc Davis led the charge with two hits and four strikeouts on the mound, while Sam Dessouky and George Christodoulo both made outstanding catches in the outfield. 

The Mariners were led by Paul Coogan with two hits and solid pitching from Wales Davison and Joel Solner, with three and four strikeouts respectively.

 
Tigers 8, Giants (Minors) 4

Led by a great performance by Grey Robinson the Tigers beat the Giants 8-4.  Grey led the way on both offense and on the mound with four runs batted in on two hits and striking out five over two hitless innings.  Jenson Rhodes and Valentino Papale added two hits each. The Tigers tallied ten hits overall.

For the Giants, Henry Lin had two hits and Parker Caselli drove in two runs and had two great putouts on defense.
 
Pirates 11 Mariners 5
 
The Pirates were able to pull away late with a strong fifth inning to defeat the Mariners, 11-5 in a well played game.   The Pirates had a strong offensive showing with Elijah Boley, Wyatt Burke and Otto Fackler each having two hits.   Calvin Crews had a solid hit to left field that drove in two.  On the mound Ian Boley faced three batters and had three strike outs.

Paul Coogan led the Mariners offensively with two hits including a double. Jack McGoohan made his pitching debut and had a run batted in and run scored.

 
Padres 12 Giants 8
 
The Padres edged out the Giants in a back and forth affair at Boyle last Friday, 12-8. Both teams had great performances up and down the lineup, with the Padres finally gaining a bit of separation in the bottom of the fourth when Cruz Williamson hit a key two run single.  
 
Carter Crosswell shined at the plate for the Giants, with multiple hard hit balls including a smashed double that scored two runs.  Danny Kievman added two hits for the visitors and added two strong innings on the mound. 
 
The Padres Alex Sawyer started on the mound and went two innings giving up two earned runs and George Quist chipped in at the plate with 2 runs batted in and reached three times.
 
Padres 8 Marlins 6
 
The Padres took home the win last Saturday at Boyle, beating the Marlins 8-6.  Aloha Shirt winner Cole Ruben was two for three with two runs batted in to lead the Padres.  
 
The Marlins Eben Sykes and Quinn Ensley each had key hits for the visitors, and Eli Shroeder blasted a triple to the scoreboard in right.   Oliver Parrett was strong on the mound with a shut down, three strikeout inning to keep the game close late. 
 
The Padres’ Brooks Breyer started a key rally with a beautiful bunt single, and Nico Bonistalli shined on the mound, with five strikeouts over two inning of work.   

 

MAJORS 

 

Red Sox 4 Seals 1
 
Behind Red Sox pitcher Henry Ellis, the Red Sox beat the Sea Lions 4-1.  Henry took a no-hitter into the fifth inning and recorded a season-high ten strikeouts.  The Sea Lions Ricky Ames broke up the no hitter with a double in the fifth and scored for the Seals' solo run.
 
The Red Sox offense was led by Paxton King, who had a triple, a double, two runs batted in, and stole home.  Pool player Tyler Krems had two singles for the Red Sox, Tate Shackelton had a hit and scored two runs, and Cooper Maddox continued his hot streak with a hit.
 
Phillies 15 Phillies 6
 
Great pitching and timely hitting helped the RVLL Yankees defeat the Phillies 15 - 6. 
 
Yankees pitchers combined for fourteen strikeouts on the day.
 
For the Phillies, Jack Devlin had a run scoring double and scored two runs.  Jordan Miller had two runs batted in and Matthew Cao had a triple and three runs batted in on the day.  Henry Lee also added a hit for the Phillies in the loss. 
 
Tigers 8, Giants (Minors) 4

Grey Robinson led the way with four runs batted in and two hits as the Tigers topped the Giants, 8-4.  Gret also struck out five over two hitless innings. Jenson Rhodes and Valentino Papale added two hits each. The Tigers tallied ten hits overall.

Brewers 11, Red Sox 3
 
In a tight majors race the Brewers combined timely hitting with sold pitching to beat the Red Sox, 11-3. The Brewers struck first blood with a two out bases loaded hit by Holden Ryan that scored two runs and never looked back.  Sebi Fals, Ryan Lynch, Alex Amelie’s, Cody Chittenden and Holden Ryan all contributed multiple hits for the Brewers.  Brewers starter, Ryan Lynch struck out five over two innings giving up two runs.  Cody Chittenden closed the game with two scoreless innings and three strikeouts.
 
Henry Ellis of the Red Sox hit a two run triple to right center and hot hitting, Paxton King added two hits.  Tate Shackleton went two for three for the Sox.  
 
Red Sox center fielder, Oscar Campbell had the defensive play of the game when he with threw a perfect strike from the outfield to nail a Brewer trying to score at the plate. Nice throw Oscar! 
 
Sea Lions 2 Giants 0
 
The Sea Lions beat the Giants 2-0 in a pitchers duel. For the Sea Lions, Walker Yaeger threw a complete game giving up only four hits and no walks. Walker and Cole Pritchard each had a run batted in. 
 
Tyler Feduska started for the Giants and pitched four innings giving up only two hits and no walks.
 
Phillies 5 Yankees 3
 
The Phillies defeated the Yankees 5 to 3 last Saturday night at Boyle.
 
Strong pitching was once again the key for the Phillies as Matthew Cao and Jordan Miller combined for 12 strikeouts over 6 innings.  They did not give up a walk during the game.
 
The Oiklies shined defensively.   Phillies catcher, Jack Devlin threw out a Yankee runner attempting to steal second base.  Phillies third baseman, Henry Lee made a key play in the fourth inning to keep the Phillies ahead.
 
For the Yankees, Avery Peshkin and Jonas Jackson each had two hits and pitcher, Lazlo Winn pitched a 1-2-3 fifth inning against the heart of the Phillies batting order.
 
Yankees  4 Brewers 1
 
Yankees pitcher, Max Vreede pitched two shut out innings. Avery Peshkin added to his hit total.
