With the Giants down to their last out, Joel Sollner whacked a double to left field scoring two runs to tie the game at 2-2. The game ended in a 2-2 tie.
Stef Sigg and Nat Thompson made phenomenal catches in the outfield for the Giants.

The Red Sox were led by Paxton King who collected three hits in three at bats and absolutely annihilated a ball on a 1-0 count that was at least 40 feet over the fence for a home run. Those who witnessed it called it a thing of beauty.
On the mound, Giants pitchers, Lucas, Henry, Cody and Quinn Ensley pitched well and home run hitter, Paxton King pitched one and two-thirds scoreless innings for the Red Sox.

Lucas Parrett shined on the mound for the Orange & Black going two innings with six strikeouts, and both Henry Schmidt & Cody Chittenden pitched tow innings with four strikeouts.
The Red Sox got strong pitching performances from Patrick Dawson (four strikeouts over two innings), Cole Pritchard (three strikeouts in one inning of work) Raidan Fernandez (two strikeouts in one inning of work) and Paxton King (three strikeouts in one inning of work).
The most exciting play of the night was undoubtedly the two run homer over the fence in left center field from Paxton King in the bottom of the sixth inning to get the Red Sox within striking distance. It was Paxton's first homerun of the young season.

Offensively, Doyle Kazul had a double and Stone Strader recorded a run scoring triple in the fifth inning to seal the win. Luca Nelson, Jude Williard, and Wyatt Droege also recorded hits for the Phillies.

On a beautiful Opening Day at Boyle Park the White Sox battled the Giants. The Giants pitchers were sharp hurling a combined no- hitter over five innings. Lucas Parrett fired two innings of shutout ball with three strikeouts, Henry Schmidt went two innings with three strikeouts and Cody Chittenden pitched one inning with two strikeouts.
